Beautiful You Project

I am so EXCITED….

…to create a project that is so near and dear to my heart, it really cannot get anymore personal than this. I spent years putting myself down, telling myself I was less than, sitting around wishing I were someone else. And I honestly can’t say it was one thing, but rather it was a compound of several situations that eventually left me in that negative state. It was lonely, I felt like NOBODY could understand, I did the awful comparison game that many women do “I wish I were like Bethany over there, she’s so amazing, perfect and has the best life.” But in reality, Bethany over there was in a similar situation. Then, I realized, SO MANY WOMEN felt like I did! But that’s not a good thing, because I’ve noticed that as women, we are constantly putting ourself down, we are constantly apologizing, even if it’s not anything we did. Eventually, I learned to love myself, I learned that I don’t have to take all those things from my past and bring them to my present, I learned that the only person I need to make happy is myself. BUT. Then I realized that so many other women didn’t appreciate themselves, and ladies, you DESERVE to love yourself, no matter your pant size, no matter your past, no matter what awful incident happened in your life. You are BEAUTIFUL! You are AMAZING! You are COURAGEOUS! You are STONG! And you deserve to feel like the best version of yourself!
